Server is lagging really bad

So, came back a couple of days ago and felt like the server has never been this laggy before.....
Many people in-game has reported the same issue. So it seems not my internet issue (most unlikely)...
I was told the server got some sort of "upgrades",,? And lag occurs after since.
Not sure where the server is located but I got around 200ms which is really high
