[GUIDE] How to fix permanent black screen in windowed mode

Hello!

Some users may experience a permanent black screen when they try to run their World of Warcraft game in the windowed mode. Fortunately, there is an easy and quick solution for anyone that experiences this.

1. Locate your config.wtf file within the WTF folder. Path: WoW-Mania\WTF\config.wtf (The path may vary depending where you have stored your folder.)
2. Open up the file with a text editor. (Notepad, Wordpad, Notepad++, Word, etc.)
3. Add the following line to the bottom of the file:

   Code: Select all

   SET gxWindow "1"

4. Save the file and start your game as you usually do.

This should fix any black screen issue you may be facing with the windowed mode of the game.
