cant get passed connecting... on the login screen

i have done everything got into client 270 . and when i give my username and password it just says connecting for about 20 seconds and says i could not be connected .
is this going to fix itself or what should i do

yes me too,same problem, and i already downloaded the client again from the site...nothing, cant connect.

I just made my account on 6/29. was able to play for a few hours and logged for dinner. when i came back i could not log on, says connecting for 20 seconds then can not connect at this time. what changed? and how do i get back on?
