Account deleted

just a question i had been away a short time from the server upon trying to log back in i could not, i have been told that the account no longer exists but i cant use the old e-mail or when i try and use the charactors names i had it says unavalible, does that mean they are still there ?

From the rules page.

IMPORTANT: We will delete any account that remains inactive (not a single login) for over 18 months. The deletion is final with no chance of recovery.
