I got it. You have to make sure, that you don´t have too many sub-directorys.
The [Addon-name].toc has to be in the first level of the addon folder, example:
wrong:
Interface/AddOns/recount r6439/Recount/Recount.toc

right:
Interface/AddOns/Recount/Recount.toc

when you unzip the addon, you need to click the subfolder.

There isn't an "ADDON" button on login screen.
Addon folder and addons installed correctly.
Still unable to use addons.
Any help much appreciated!

You need to have ACP addon :)
