Issue with WoW Mania client

Anyone else have an issue with the client downloading a 2.3gb update every time they launch the client? Every single time I launch the client it downloads a 2.3gb update and I have to wait for it to finish before I can actually play.

Also none of my characters faces are rendering and some npc's are now missing. I haven't tried disabling add ons yet since i'm still waiting to get back into the game because it is updating again.

I have no idea what caused it, but I noticed it was not happening on my main computer. So I delete the entire folder and made a copy from my desktop. It worked really well, no issues so far. I'm considering the matter closed.

Hi, there are a few steps you can do

1) make sure your Mania folder isnt "read only"
(right click the folder and go to properties, and uncheck the box read only) then apply and ok it

2) Run the launcher as admin

this should save your files, then it shouldnt re-DL each time you run the launcher

oh good, I am glad to hear that :)
I would have suggested some drastic stuff if still not fixed.
