Cannot start WoW-Mania.exe due to failed archive ****\speech-****.MPQ

Hi there,

Trying to come back to Wow-Mania after a long hiatus and did a full download. I kept getting an error unfortunately and even despite patching and also trying a few things that have worked in the past (putting into root, deleting out some other MPQ files to get the launcher to pull them down again - which it did successfully), I keep getting the error "failed to launch archive ****\speech-****.MPQ."

Can anyone help or is this a fresh re-download?

Hi there

I would re-download, sounds like the file corrupted.
After you have downloaded, right click on the Mania folder/properties and uncheck your "read only"
