Updating to 2.6

Hi there,
so recently my Launcher doesn't show any updates or news (even when starting it as admin). My Client version is 2.5.5. I can start and play the game as usual. Is there any way to fix this or at least update to 2.6.0 or do I have to reinstall the Launcher?

EDIT: So, I just downloaded the Patch 2.6.0 from the download section and it all works. I still wonder why the Launcher didn't update automatically, though.
